Ehi Braimah is a writer, journalist, public policy analyst and commentator, motivational speaker, mentor, author, and media entrepreneur.

 

After a degree in industrial mathematics from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, he registered for the MBA programme at the University of Roehampton, London, UK, which he completed in 2017.

 

Braimah was honoured with the distinguished Chancellor’s Alumni Award of the University of Roehampton on October 22, 2024, in London.

 

He is the Managing Director/CEO of Neo Media & Marketing, and currently serves as the Deputy National President of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, the foremost bi-lateral chamber of commerce in Nigeria established since 1960.

 

Braimah is the Chairman, Naija Times Journalism Foundation; Chairman, Edo Sports Development Foundation; Fellow, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria; member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors; associate member, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria; member, Guild of Online Corporate Publishers, and mentor, Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme.

 

At the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), he served as chairman, programmes committee (2018 – 2021); chairman, media & publicity committee (2018 – 2021), and chairman, PR & advocacy committee (2021 -2024).

 

In 2023, he received the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Enterprise Award, and the Industry Influencer in Experiential Marketing Award from the Brand Journalists’ Association of Nigeria.

 

As a strategic communications professional and publisher/editor-in-chief of Naija Times and Lagos Post (two independent online newspapers), he uses his extensive media contacts to promote a favourable public image for his clients.

 

Braimah wields considerable influence on the Nigerian media landscape, and he has published his articles in multiple media outlets – print and online. He is passionate about making Nigeria a better place which explains why he founded Naija Times in 2020 to defend the public interest, build strong institutions, promote the rule of law, and highlight transparency and accountability issues in the public sector.

 

As an author, he published his first book, ‘My Lockdown Diary: Reflections on Nigeria and Covid-19 Pandemic,’ in 2020 where he shared his perspectives as a journalist and public policy analyst on the management of the pandemic in Nigeria in terms of the process and the people’s response; the role of leadership, and the steps needed to diversify and unlock the potentials of the Nigerian economy.

 

Neo Media & Marketing, his PR & marketing management company which he founded in 2008, has been activating success across various platforms for their multi-national clients. Braimah has been a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) since 1993.

 

As an entrepreneur, Braimah has interests in public relations, advertising, marketing, event management, hospitality, digital publishing, and graphic designs.

 

Braimah is a Rotarian who served as the President of the Rotary Club of Lagos (the second oldest Rotary Club in Nigeria, chartered on May 30, 1961) in 2018-2019 and received the Presidential Citation at the time. He also served as District Secretary in 2021-2022.

 

In April 2025, he was appointed as an Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator (ARPIC) in Africa Zone 22 Region 27 for 2025-2026. He is the editor of the Region 27 magazine. As a regional leader, he attended the Regional Team Learning Seminar (RTLS) which held in Accra, Ghana from May 7 – 11, 2025.

 

Braimah is happily married with children.
